THE BIG WHY .... it is time to get real about real estate

It appears nobody at this time wishes to embrace the basics of selling Real Estate. We live in a world of technology and information overload. While it is great to have all this information at our fingertips it has also made us lazy. I am constantly surprised when I hear someone make a statement like "you mean to tell me this is like a real job with real hours"? or "Oh you mean I should go look at homes and not just try to use the Internet" my favorite is "will putting my photograph make a difference on my website"?


HELLO PEOPLE!!!. We are dealing with other Human Beings. They want to purchase a home or investment. They use the Internet to shop and gather information. However, they need real estate professionals to guide them through the buying and selling process. Matter of fact according to the National Association of Realtors 2009 survey over 90% of all real estate purchases started with a search on the Internet. Those numbers are actually up over the years. The good news is 87% still used a realtor to purchase a home.

I know you may not have a listing or a client.
Well guess what? The majority of people are using the Internet to search for professional Real Estate Agents, communities and properties to buy. What are they going to see when they stumble upon your website??????
